Superman Necklace circa 1978This necklace was originally sold exclusively in the lobby of the premiere theatre for "Superman: The Movie" back in 1978. Coincidentally Jerry Siegel co-creator of Superman was a message courier for this theatre at the time of this premiere. What a slap in the face that was. This story touched comic writers and comic artists to join together and help Siegel & Shuster get a lifelong pension from Warner Bros. The necklaces are case mint and have been in storage for over 20 years until NOW! They are cast metal including cape. Hand painted with an acrylic inlay "S"emblem and electro-plated gold chain.
